Personality plus factor
Just 18, with a history peppered with different, short-term roles, Janeice had almost given up hope of finding work when she came to see us after six months without a job.
We could see, however, that she was bright, bubbly character with loads of promise and simply needed our support to make the right first impression on potential employers.
Confidence built, she shone at a number of group interviews for customer service roles. Sainsbury’s thought she was “great…just the kind of person we’re looking for”, while the Account Manager who ran the interviews for Gatwick Express said she was “the best candidate out of the whole group”.
In fact, out of 50 candidates at the Gatwick Express interviews, Janeice was one of the favourites. She wasn’t offered the job she applied for though. She was offered a better paid position. Now happily employed, she’s getting lots of encouragement from our support team who are helping her make a success of her first permanent role.
